WRITER GUIDELINESUnique story 2,000 - 4,000 wordsFile Format○ Google DocsFinal Submission Requirements○ Do NOT use the [tab] key to indent new paragraphs.○ Do NOT hit [Enter]/[Return] twice at the end of a paragraph. If you wish to have extra space between paragraphs, please use the “Add Space After Paragraph” setting.○ Mark section breaks with three asterisks between paragraphs.You may choose your own font and font size when writing. Please note that these will be standardized during formatting.Please note that during the final round of editing, the follow changes to spelling and grammar will be made. To ease the burden on the writing mods, you may implement them yourself, but it is not required. For questions or comments, please feel free to contact the mod team!○ We will be using em-dash (—) with no spaces instead of a double hyphen (--). (On PC, the Hotkey is Alt + 0151. F.A.Q.

Q: What kind of project is this?
A: This is a pro-ship, pro-fic, 18+ ONLY Vash the Stampede fanzine. Meaning, any and all forms of Vash are acceptable, ranging from the '98 anime, to Trigun Maximum, and the 2023 Trigun Stampede.Q: Is this zine SFW, NSFW, or problematic?
A: Everything! Our zine will have 3 different books (as separate files) categorizing SFW, NSFW, and Problematic themes.Q: Are minors allowed since there will be an SFW book?
A: No. Regardless of there being an SFW version, the general server in which we will be working will include NSFW and problematic contributors. For everyone's safety, minors are excluded from this project.Q: Will this zine be for profit?
A: Nope! This zine will be a free, digital-only project across all books.Q: Who are the mods?
A: We have several wonderful mods helping out with this project! You can find them HERE.Q: How will contributor apps be handled?
A: Once requirements for applications have been decided, that information can be accessed HERE.Q: Will Vash/Knives works be exclusively in the Problematic zine?
A: Due to the representation of characters in the Trigun fandom, most ships could be considered problematic due to the following:
• age difference (i.e Vash being up to 150 years old)
• interspecies (i.e. Plant x Human)
• incestuous / pseudo-incestuous (i.e. Vash x Knives, Nico x Livio)
• forced age-progression of underage individuals (Nico, Livio, etc)
For this reason, ships will NOT dictate whether a work is categorized in SFW, NSFW, or Problematic. All ships will be allowed across all three zines.Q: Are we allowed to submit pre-published works as samples? If so, how will you avoid bias?
A: Absolutely! We anticipate that most applicants will supply samples of pre-published works. It is always possible that a mod will recognize your writing. In that case, a mod may abstain from voting if they feel their opinion would be in any way biased toward an applicant.
